We use advanced technology to deliver drama and value
Pyrotecnico producers use technology to explore many designs, integrate audio and effects, fire shows with great precision and predictability and manage costs. During our design process we use software applications to meet the unique needs of each client. The software makes it possible for our designers to consider the size, shape, elevation and audience that are unique to each venue.
Computer-fired fireworks
What do Pyrotecnico and the NASA Space Shuttle have in common? Precise timing. That giant countdown clock you see on TV during shuttle launches is connected via satellite to the Atomic Clock in Boulder, Colorado. So too are the computers that fire our shows. Our clock will count down to exactly 11pm to celebrate the opening of CityCenter with precision timing. "Big deal", you say? It really is a big deal if you need to synchronize multiple locations and media at your event like barges, buildings, stages, bridges, television stations, radio broadcasts, video projectors, lighting and lasers. You name it, we can integrate it into the show with precision.
Computer-fired fireworks
Computer-fired displays allow each shell to be connected to a master control board operated by a pyrotechnician. The master control board sends a computer-generated impulse that ignites the electrical match on the shell, which detonates the lift charge. The lift charge launches the shell hundreds of feet into the air while a precise time fuse continues to burn until the exact moment when BOOM! the shell bursts, creating a brilliant display of color and effect.
Keep the surprises in the sky
Clients benefit from our use of advanced technology because there are fewer surprises, faster development times, better production value and greater predictability. We constantly update our technology with safety in mind.

BENEFITS
Did you know that the advanced design and firing tools we use can:
- 1]Enhance the production value of your display.
- 2]Ensure that the show is fired exactly as the show designer intended.
- 3]Allow for last minute adjustments that may not be possible with manual systems.
- 4]Provide greater control and predictability over the show.
- 5]Be used to integrate pre-recorded audio, live audio, and many other special effects.
- 6]Customize the details of every show, to meet the specific needs of the client.
- 7]Allow the designer to explore innovative firings.
- 8]View the show from a safety perspective.
- 9]Include site requirements in the design process.
- 10]Review show set-up and layout with the crew to ensure a problem-free performance.
